How to lock and unlock the record in Cases Stage?

It can be easily implemented by enabling Approvals in the section, creating an approval task and making it required.

Thanks for reply,i  locked the stage using "making it required" but unable to lock other fields in record and  stage goes to backward direction.

In case you want to make certain fields non-editable for certain stages you can try creating business-rules selecting stages for condition.

As for the stage going backward and your screenshot, is there any chance you can share more screenshots and description? You can also send an email to support@bpmonline.com in case you face any issues as it will be easier to provide more specific information for investigation.
