Owner doesn't get access to the record

Good day,

We have noticed that when assigning the Contact to the particular Owner, the Owner himself doesn't get access to it. By default, in our system, users can only see the records that they have created. What can we do to provide Owners with the full access rights without having to do that manually every time for each Contact.

Hi Ryan,

First thing you have to do is to check the Settings of the Section object in Configuration:

1. Open the Configuration Section.

2. Find the Section object, in your case 'Contact' and open it.

3. Select the main element in the structure, and display 'All Properties':

4. Find the column named 'Owner' and see if the value displayed there is 'Owner':

5. If it is not, then enter it there and publish the Object. From this moment, Owners of the Contacts will be getting full access rights to the assigned record, as the author does.
